- In a medium saucepan, pour in the 2 cups of almond milk.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure even heating.
- While the milk is warming, take a small bowl and add the 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Add the scoop of protein powder to the bowl with the cocoa.
- Next, pour in the 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.
- Now, add the 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and the 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to the bowl.
- Using a whisk or a fork, mix all the dry ingredients and the syrup together until they form a smooth paste.
- Once the almond milk is warm (but not boiling), carefully pour the cocoa and protein mixture into the saucepan.
