- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the peaches thoroughly under running water.
- Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits.
- Cut the peaches into smaller chunks.
- Place the peach chunks into a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
- Pour the peach puree through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl to remove pulp and skin. Set aside.
- Squeeze the lemons to extract juice and strain it into a measuring cup.
- In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice and granulated sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- Add cold water to the pitcher.
- Stir in the peach puree until well combined. Adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Cover the pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the chilled peach lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with peach slices and mint leaves if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
