- Add the ranch dressing mix, mixing thoroughly to avoid any dry pockets of seasoning.
- Fold in the cooked and crumbled sausage, which should be browned and slightly cooled.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and pepper jack cheese, mixing until well combined.
- Finally, fold in the chopped green onions and crumbled bacon (if using), ensuring even distribution throughout the mixture.
