These Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers combine juicy beef patties with crispy tater tots and melted cheddar, all in soft slider buns. Perfect for gatherings, they offer a fun twist on classic sliders, topped with pickles and your choice of condiments.

- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 12 slider buns (mini burger buns)
- Optional: lettuce, tomato slices, and additional toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Bake the tater tots according to the package instructions, usually around 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions, roll into balls, and flatten into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Add the burger patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
- Flip the patties and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add cheese during the last minute and cover to melt.
- Remove the tater tots from the oven and let cool for a minute.
- Slice the slider buns in half and toast if desired.
- On the bottom half of each slider bun, place a cooked burger patty with melted cheese.
- Top each patty with a few tater tots, diced pickles, and drizzle with ketchup and mustard.
- Place the top half of the slider bun on each mini cheeseburger.
