Enjoy these fluffy and moist milk cupcakes, perfect for any celebration! Topped with your favorite frosting and sprinkles, they are a delightful treat that can be easily customized with various flavors and toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: frosting of your choice for decoration
  • Optional: sprinkles or other toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Start with a third of the flour mixture, then half of the milk, another third of the flour, the remaining milk, and finally the last of the flour. Mix until just combined.
  7. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  8. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter and gently tap the pan on the counter to remove air bubbles.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with your favorite frosting using a piping bag, and add sprinkles or other decorations as desired.
