  • Author: Dottie
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These mini cheeseburger sliders are a crowd-pleaser, featuring juicy beef patties, melted cheddar cheese, and fresh toppings. Perfect for parties or family dinners, they are easy to assemble and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns (preferably brioche)
  • 6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pickles
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix the ingredients gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
  2. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions (about 2 ounces each). Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it into a patty that is slightly larger than the slider buns, as they will shrink while cooking.
  3. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb.
  4. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and allow it to heat for about 1 minute.
  5. Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  6. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on the first side without moving them.
  7. Flip the patties and immediately place half a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness (160°F for medium).
  8. Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for a couple of minutes while you prepare the buns.
  9. While the patties are resting, wipe out the skillet and return it to medium heat.
  10. Place the slider buns cut-side down in the skillet. Toast them for about 1-2 minutes or until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
  11. Start by spreading a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun.
  12. Place a cooked beef patty with melted cheddar cheese on top of the mayonnaise-covered bun.
  13. Add a layer of shredded lettuce on top of the patty, followed by a slice of tomato.
  14. Top with pickles, adjusting the amount based on your preference for tanginess.
  15. Drizzle a small amount of mustard and ketchup on top of the pickles, if desired.
  16. Finally, place the top half of the slider bun on each assembled slider.
  17. Arrange the assembled sliders on a serving platter. You can secure each slider with a toothpick to keep them together.
  18. Serve the sliders warm with additional condiments on the side.
  19. Pair the sliders with your favorite sides, such as potato chips.

Notes
