A refreshing Cara Cara Margarita Mocktail with sweet-tart orange, lime, and sparkling water. Perfect non-alcoholic treat!

- 4 Cara Cara oranges
- 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar (or simple syrup), adjust to taste
- 4 cups sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Optional: Salt or sugar for rimming the glasses
- Optional: Cara Cara orange slices and lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Juice the Cara Cara Oranges: Juice the oranges to yield about 1 cup of juice. Remove any seeds.
- Juice the Lime: Juice the lime to yield about 2 tablespoons of juice. Remove any seeds.
- (Optional) Strain the Juices: Strain the orange and lime juices through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp.
- Combine Juices and Sweetener: In a pitcher, combine the Cara Cara orange juice, lime juice, and agave nectar (or simple syrup).
- Stir Well: Stir the mixture thoroughly until the agave nectar is completely dissolved.
- (Optional) Chill: Chill the juice mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- (Optional) Rim the Glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Pour a thin layer of salt or sugar onto a small plate. Gently press the moistened rim of each glass into the salt or sugar, rotating until the entire rim is coated.
- Add Ice: Fill each glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the Mocktail: Pour the Cara Cara orange and lime juice mixture into the prepared glasses, filling them about halfway.
- Top with Sparkling Water: Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish each mocktail with a Cara Cara orange slice and a lime wedge.
- Stir Gently: Stir the mocktail gently to combine the juice mixture and sparkling water.
- Serve Immediately: Serve the Cara Cara Margarita Mocktails immediately.
